tasty indonesian soup: soto ayam

I was blessed enough to go to Bali over Christmas and New Years, where I got so inspired by the authentic Indonesian kitchen that I have tried to replicate MANY dishes ever since I came home. Somehow, the dishes don’t taste the same as when I was in Bali, but they still taste damn good. This recipe is for soto ayam, an aromatic Indonesian chicken soup.

I haven’t shared this on the blog yet, but I’m actually part Indonesian – part Danish. I’ve mainly been brought up in Denmark, but have also been blessed to live in Bali for some time. I’m extremely fond of the Indonesian kitchen, as I love anything spicy, and this recipe is exactly that.
